2025 Video Contest Award Ceremony

For the past 12 years, LUSO has been hosting a Video Contest to commemorate March 21st, the International Day to End Racial Discrimination. On March 20th, we hosted an event at Museum London to announce the winners of our 2024-2025 contest. Over 300 people attended the event, and were treated to amazing performances by 519 School of Hip Hop, Alexa Yeo (The Hometown Harpist), and an inspirational keynote address by Sunday Ajak.

Racism hurts us all, and has negative impacts within society, and we need to continue our collective actions to ensure that everyone is valued, respected, and welcomed in our community.

Congratulations to all of the winners of LUSO's 2024-2025 Video Contest. This year's theme was "Racism Hurts Us All" and we had amazing submissions from very talented students. Our sincere thanks to Thames Valley District School Board, London District Catholic School Board, Avon-Maitland District School Board, and the Huron-Perth Catholic School Board for supporting this initiative and your students in this journey.
